Where Do i Accept Relationship Request On Facebook ?

Well im tryin to get my facebook to say im married to my mate but it wont let me cause whenever we try an send each other a request it says that we already have one waiting for us on our homepages :/ Then when I try looking on the request thingy next to the facebook logo theres nothin there so I clicked on 'See all requests' and on the left hand side next to requests it says '(1)' but when I click on it it doesnt say theres anythin there .
