Facebook can recognize my pictures when I upload them to another account?

Okay so I created a second facebook account, because I wanted to check something. I used a totally different name, birthday etc, but uploaded a picture of me as my profile picture. I then proceeded to log into my "real" account and typed the name of the fake profile i created. And even though I have no friends in common with that person (because I didnt add any friends on that "fake" account) whatsoever, the name of that fake account appeared first when I started to type the name. I know facebook has this new thingy that recognizes your face when people tag you, but can it actually see when someone else is using your pictures in their account?!?! Because when I typed in the name from my friend's account, my fake account didn't appear at all until I pressed enter and then i had to scroll down a looooot to actually find it.... but from my real account, it just appears in the search field as soon as you type the name...
