What type of screaming is this?

All screamo singers use a technique called vocal fry. Vocal fry is the noise that happens when you vibrate your vocal chords softly. Then you can add volume and aggression to give it that hardcore screamo sound. He seems to go for a softer version of this, with some volume and aggression but not as much as you see in other bands, such as PWD (more hardcore bands).
